There are no less than 10 different articles written by different photographers that speak to the numerous reasons as to why we can’t and won’t work for free, and how much it costs to run your own studio, so I won’t rehash all that. But I’m here today to tell you why we also won’t and shouldn’t work for anything less than what is reasonable for our industry.

I have the tendency to repost this before every major holiday. The reason I do it is because it’s always right before or right after, I get a rush of phone calls that sound like this…”BRIAN!! I LOST ALL MY PICTURES!!!…I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!” or “I thought format meant the style in which I wanted them to look” or my personal favorite “I washed my SD card doing laundry…”

Chorus Photography is proud to announce that once again, we'll be the official photographers for Preston & Steve's Camp Out For Hunger.
For 5 years, Chorus Photography has been teaming up with Philabundance and Camp Out For Hunger to help food insecure families around the Delaware Valley.
More than 750,000 people in our area face hunger. Help ‘can’ hunger this December by camping out for hunger. Bring non-perishable items to XFINITY Live! from Monday, November 30 through Friday, December 4 or Every $1 donated = 2 meals to help feed our neighbors in need.
Last year, thanks to thousands of corporate partners, small businesses, volunteers and YOU Camp Out for Hunger was the most successful ever! For the 8th year in a row, Preston & Steve camped out to fight hunger, and their efforts yielded approximately 840,000 pounds of food, plus more than $100,000 that provided one million meals to our hungry neighbors!
The week-long event will feature local and national celebrities, like those who attended last year: Athletes from the Eagles and Union, comedian Tom Green, film director M. Night Shymalan and actress Jane Seymour… and thousands of fans who helped us drive hunger from our communities. You can find select images from last year's Camp Out For Hunger here.
If you can’t make it, but would still like to make a donation, our hungry neighbors in the Delaware Valley would appreciate it.

Giving Back To Our Community, One Photo At A Time
The plan is a simple one, offer a single portrait to those in our hometown that may not be able to afford them otherwise.
We will be doing pop up sites around Phoenixville until the final Fall leaf twirls to the ground. You won't know where or when until we announce it either on the two Phoexniville Facebook pages or on our Facebook/Instagram/Twitter feed. So check back daily!
Each family that comes down will take 3 or 4 pictures. We'll then edit the best one and post it to our webpage where you may download it for free. No strings, no nothing. It's just our way of giving back.

Chorus Photography Walks The Red Carpet With The Greater Philadelphia Film Office
As part of our continuing work with The Greater Philadelphia Film Office, we had the pleasure of documenting the 2015 SIP & DFDF Awards, as well as supporting the event as a sponsor. Shown here are GPFO Execuive Director Sharon Pinkenson and Chorus Founder BP Miller.
Praise. It's Not Just For Sundays.
We as photographers want that pat on the back of a job well done, a little slap on the ass with “good job slugger”. We not only need it, but we CRAVE it as artists. It’s what you hired us for.
